Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Currently, STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) are at epidemic proportions and should be taken very seriously. The term STD is being changed by some to read to read as STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection).The term STI was chosen to play down the gravity of STDs. Abstinence Clearinghouse will continue to promote the use of the term Sexually Transmitted Disease.
